Excellent service and ambiance. Had the canard burger. It was a good meal but I think the cheese overpowered the taste of the meat. I was a little disappointed by this.
Went there yesterday evening for date night with my boyfriend and we were thoroughly disappointed. The bathroom and kitchen electricity was on the blitz but we werent made aware that this could delay our foodWe begged for our bread an hour into our meal and it was frozen, no butter served with it so I grabbed a young busy boy ( who was very sweet and professional) and he finally brought us some warm bread to tide us over until our meal. During that period of time I also asked for a glass of wine that never arrived. Our main meal was served approx 2.5 hours after our arrival. At this point we were ravenous!I ordered the salmon and vegetables, vegetables were cold and there was a funky order and taste to the salmon which was making me queasy...I asked my partner who confirmed it was off. The clients seated next to us, also told me they smelled something weird and he asked if he could taste it as he is a chef. He took one bite, spit it out and confirmed that it was bad. I returned the meal and although the waitress was very apologetic and offered me another meal I declined as during this time, my boyfriend who had ordered a hamburger noticed that the his meat was uncooked.I can totally understand that issues can happen in the kitchen, but a rebate could have been offered as many customers walked out due to the quality of the food. If the ovens dont work properly, close the kitchen and advise your clients instead of taking the risk of someone getting sick. The only positive, was the decor. Unfortunately date night ended with some good old fashioned Tim Hortons that is just next door.
Terrible, we waited one and a half hour before giving up and so did many people on other tables, particularly a young family with three little children. No free drinks or appetizers were offered. Some dishes were left on the tables after some people ate, this attracted many flies. The waitresses were very nice and apologetic, but no management were in place. In regards to their publicity regarding being the nicest terrace in the area, see by yourself! It could have easily been cleaned up.
Great menu. The service and the quality of the food is great and the prices are very reasonable. Best terrasse in the Laurentians and the decor is fantastic, too
